titulo-mission

We grew up enjoying aguas frescas in Mexico and could not find the right stuff here in the US. We made it our mission to make the best and most authentic Mexican drinks. All Mexican food tastes better with real aguas frescas (¡sin chingaderas!).

Our other mission is build the world’s largest collection of “no es lo mismo …” sayings: “no es lo mismo huele a traste, que atrás te huele”.

Nacho Montoya is from Los Angeles and he fights like a rudo. Nacho is a tragón and will eat almost anything.

Lucho Mondragón is from Mexico, he follows the técnico lucha style, and is a traditionalist when it comes to Mexican food.

titulo-team

We came together because we share common bonds: nos gusta tragar, chupar, el desmadre y los albures.  We hail from Los Angeles, Dé Efe, Oaxaca, Michoacán, El Salvador and even Brooklyn.  Prior to AguaLucha each of us did lots of different things: luchador, chef, artist, policía, comedian, store manager, delivery driver.  We spend our time developing recipes and trying to outdo each other on the funniest t-shirt design.

We are Nacho, Lucho, La Chispa, La Oveja, El Peregrino, La Chancla, El Recetón, El Valiente, La Damita Dinamita y El Vitrolero.

We grew up admiring our Lucha heroes and saw them give their all in the ring. As we got older we realized that their effort and success also takes a physical toll.  Some luchadores get injured. Many do not earn enough during their careers to afford a respectable retirement.

We want to help the neediest in recognition of all the enjoyment and pride they have brought to our community.  AguaLucha is the main supporter of the Apoyo a Luchadores foundation, based in Mexico City. Please visit www.ApoyoALuchadores.com to learn more about their efforts and to support their work.
